Much has changed since we were little. If technology consisted in having a TV and a record player, children today own that and much more. Personal computers, electronic games, tablets, smartphones and videogames to name just a few. According to a study by Lori Takeuchi, from the Joan Ganz Cooney Center, households with children between 4 and 14 have an average of 11 digital and technological devices. The experts plead us to be cautious about having them spend too much time in front of the screens but we agree that electronic games, computers and digital media help expand their learning and knowledge. Here is the right tech for each age.
