February 10, 2016  |  Written by Carlota Nelson

At The Toy Blog, we´ve suggested how toy cars can have tremendous benefits for children. To start, they help them learn concepts such as speed, space and distances. They also allow them to socialize, express themselves and learn about road safety, all very important things to learn. It also teaches them to use their motor skills and coordination as well as learning to differentiate left from right, forwards and backwards. Today, we´d like to tell you all about the new Range Rover by Feber, and how to direct it with the use of a cell phone.

On location with José Jiménez, Digital Media Producer at Famosa
July 23, 2015  |  Written by M. Rodrigo Brao

This month, at The Toy Blog, we interviewed José Jiménez, Digital Media Producer at Famosa. He coordinates the production of all the company´s toy commercials. In 2015, he shot a total of 50, only between the months of January and July. Some of these commercials are already being broadcast and can seen on Famosa´s YouTube account. Others, we will get to enjoy during the Christmas season (we can´t wait!). He confessed that he loves children and toys: “Everyone who knows me says this is the best possible job I could have.” He´s from the Canary Islands and lives in Madrid and proudly shares his photographs of all the film shoots on his Twitter and Instagram accounts. When he was a little boy, he never imagined that he would direct “toy movies”, because he´s always wanted to be a car designer. Life, however, has led him to work close to miniature racecars, like the ones you´ll see in the Feber commercial.

Let´s learn to ride a bike with Barriguitas!
April 17, 2015  |  Written by M. Rodrigo Brao

The new Barriguitas has just learned to ride a bicycle. The most difficult thing to learn was keeping her balance but in one single afternoon she has mastered it. The best part is that she´ll never forget how. She knows it’s a great way to exercise and something fun to do at the park. We asked her for some advice so we can teach other children how to ride a bike. Barriguitas followed the REI´s outdoor lessons, which you can apply with your kids.
