The first weeks at home with a new baby are usually pretty hectic, especially if it´s your first. You´ve read the books, your girlfriends have shared their experiences, the nurses at the hospital have spoken to you about the importance of breastfeeding, you´ve bought everything on the list and your godmother has offered to live with you until you get organized. Despite having followed all the recommendations, simple things like what temperature should the water be when washing my baby or how do I clean the umbilical cord stub, might escape you entirely. If this is the case, don´t panic. It´s normal. A University for Parents does not exist and not everything you need to know is in the books. Each mother baby are different.
