April 2, 2015  |  Written by M. Rodrigo Brao

April 2nd marks the International Children´s Book Day. Coinciding with the birth of writer Hans Christian Anderson (1805-1875) the IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People) Organization promotes and encourages children all around the world to read. This year, the chosen topic is “Many cultures, one story “ included in the 2015 sign created by writer Marwa Obaid and illustrator Nasim Abaeiam, both from United Arab Emirates. The website offers information on activities and programs you and your children can take part in and enjoy. A perfect plan to cultivate their love for reading.
