Today, June 8th, is World Ocean´s Day and this year´s United Nations theme is: “Healthy Oceans, Healthy Planet.” According to the Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, “in order to ensure the health and safety of our communities and future generations, it’s imperative that we take the responsibility to care for the ocean as it cares for us.” And there is no one better than Nancy to talk to us about this. Her experience as a dolphin veterinarian will help children understand why it´s important to take care of our oceans and all it´s creatures.

It´s in the back of our heads all the time:  we need to teach our children to respect the environment and take care of nature.
