Is it a good idea to give kids digital devices?

Holy Communion season is approaching and one of the most demanded gifts is, without a doubt, a technologic device: laptop, smartphone, game console or tablet. However, as parents, we might ask ourselves if it´s a good idea. There are different opinions on the matter. We still don´t know what effects its and experts argue about the benefits and dangers. What we do know is that technology is here to stay and it seems counter productive for children to live in a bubble. The key is moderation and the decision is up to you.

By now, surely you know who the Mutant Busters are. Thanks to them thousands of children are busy playing, imagining they are one of these charismatic superheroes who battle against the Mutants. While they play, they also learn how to be conscious of the environment, imitating their heroes who are trying to save a contaminated planet. The Mutant Busters, created by Famosa, have caused such an uproar that they even have their own website, free videogames and a fantastic new app. Today, we´ve been lucky enough to interview some of the members of La Resistance, to discover what these kids with super powers are really like.
