Every child is unique and learns according to his age and stage of development. During each stage your child will develop certain abilities and will only learn that which he can understand. While our children grow, it´s important to maintain your expectations (and his) real. If you haven´t had the chance to read our post titled “Learning as you Grow” we encourage you to do so you can access a guide of what to expect while your children continues on his wonderful, magical journey of growing up. Today, at The Toy Blog, we´d like to share a list of toys that will become indispensable for your child, all throughout his early development.

Ever since they´re born, babies communicate. During this first stage, they do it by crying, smiling and discovering the world with their eyes, fingers and sense of smell. But as they grow, it´s also important to stimulate their sense and motor skills.

Toys motivate babies to use their feet and hands in order to discover forms, colours and sounds. Once babies know how to sit and crawl, toys incite them to be on the move.

Great examples of this type of toy are teddy bears. In our post “The Benefits of Playing with Teddy Bears” we explained how stuffed animals have certain advantages over other types of toys. Allan Gansher, a play theorist and founder of Kids Inc., suggests that children, knowing stuffed animals represent something real, feel identified and helps them explore their more complex emotions.

Thanks to teddy bears such as Nuco or Nuco Pink, babies develop their emotional, motor and sensory skills.

Sweet Dreams Teddy Bear is a special bear that helps relax babies and puts them to sleep. This teddy bear has a star on its belly that lights up when pressed and Nuco´s nursery rhyme begins to play. It has a timer so you can regulate it to play anywhere from 1 minute to 5.

Another soft and interactive teddy bear is Nuco Aprendizaje. Its hands are two small pacifiers, its belly is a rattle and one foot has a mirror. You can hang it from the cradle using the hook on its back. This special teddy bear will have your baby experience different textures and will help develop motor skills.

Another fun option is Nuco Dancing. This musical teddy bear moves and is interactive as well. You can activate it by clapping or pressing its arms or legs. The teddy bear moves about and dances to fun sounds and songs, encouraging babies to do the same.

It was designed to exercise the gross motor skills, so babies can follow the teddy bears movements, getting them to sit down or crawl. It even comes with a handle so you can take it wherever you go.

Another great option is the Musical Mobile by Nenuco. Its base comes in the shape of a house and is made with quality materials so your baby won´t get hurt playing. You can also personalize it with your favourite pictures. To help your baby relax, you can activate the soft melodies. Otherwise, if you want to keep your baby entertained, you can activate the lights and carrousel.

Beginning at 7 months, babies enter what is known as the “doing stage”. It is then that children explore the world by seeing, tasting, touching and listening. This is the time in which they will also utter their first words and learn to differentiate different body parts, shapes and colours.

However they´ll still want you close by. That’s why teddy bears come in handy. Yet, they also need to be exposed to a variety of experiences and places and leave them enough time to do things on their own.

The Nenuco Baby 5 in 1 Nuco Tour, includes 5 different uses so it adapts to different ages and needs. It has a baby walker, a rocking chair, a roadrunner and a handlebar they adjust to different heights and they can push. The steering wheel has lights and sounds so they can have fun as they learn. Recommended for babies and children under 1.

Just like we´ve suggested her at The Toy Blog, children learn by playing and toys are the tools that allow them to discover the world they live in. Plus, toys provide plenty of enjoyment and happiness, both of which help esteem. Thanks to Nuco´s world, babies learn while they play.
